Fidyah, Fitrana & Kaffara

FIDYA

“[Fasting is for] a limited number of days. So whoever among you is ill or on a journey [during them] – then an equal number of days [are to be made up]. And upon those who are able [to fast, but with hardship] – a ransom [as substitute] of feeding a poor person [each day]. And whoever volunteers excess – it is better for him. But to fast is best for you, if you only knew,” (Qur’an, 2:184-5)
Paying Fidya with Arsh Foundation is just £4 a day and will provide a person living in poverty with two wholesome, nutritious meals in Ramadan.

KAFFARAh

You will need to pay Kaffarah, for breaking fasts or making fasts invalid, when there is no good reason, and you cannot fast at a later time for 60 continuous days.
According to the Quran, you need to provide 60 meals, to atone for your broken fast.

Arsh Foundation gives you the opportunity to pay your kaffara effectively. Pay £4 a day and we will provide a person living in poverty with two wholesome, nutritious meals in Ramadan.

Fitrana

Fitrana is to be paid by every Muslim adult who possess food more than their needs.

Fitrana can be paid during Ramadan, before Eid-ul-Fitr prayers at the latest, so that the poor can also enjoy the day of Eid. In most cases, the head of the household pays on the behalf of every member.

Pay £4 per person in your household to uphold your religious obligation.

Your £4 donation will mean a vulnerable person in need will have a happier Eid with good food and new clothes.
